Thanks, Krista!!
Here is the ppt for breakout 3 AT without Ferdie's problem.

Hi Mike and Gina,
Here is an updated version of the ppt for PR Breakout 3. Note that we found we ended up cutting the EQAO problem, due to time. I've added the fractions on a line problem, so the group can see the problem, before they view the video. I've also embedded a link to the csc website on the ppt, to make it easier for participants to download the video clips. I downloaded the whole video onto my laptop before showing it, though, so we didn't have to worry about the video streaming.

Hello everyone,
Sorry for the delay!
Here are the powerpoints for Breakouts 1 and 2- Proportional Reasoning, plus the scaffolding questions and four corners on separate files.
I have also attached the statements for learning goals and a more detailed description of Race to Red with debriefing questions you may want to use.

Hi Everyone,
Just checking in as I'm in town and connected for a few hours. I'm sending an email out to all as will, but thought it would be worth getting something here as a starting point.
Krista

Hi Krista and Gina
Here are two of the templates that Mike and I worked on today. C.

Hi Everyone,
Here are the two templates I've been playing with...(now that I've finally figured out how to upload them!), K

So, I've removed all of our "work in progress" and we will now upload the revised versions of the breakouts (Match templates today - July 27). As the powerpoint for each one is ready, please load them here.
Consider naming both the Match template and the powerpoint like this: 36Breakout5AT or 36Breakout1PR, then they'll stay in order for you in your folder on your desktop.
Krista

Hi everyone
Here are the 4 breakouts for Algebraic Thinking: match templates only. I will work on the Powerpoints!

Cathy

Here are Breakouts 3 and 4 for PR (as of July 27) I'll get the powerpoints done.

Krista

Hi everyone,
Here are the MATCH templates for PR breakouts 1 and 2 plus the Best Fishes.

Hi everyone!
Please find below the first two powerpoints for Algebraic Thinking, plus the Learning Goal handout that we need for breakout 2. Cheers! Cathy

Hi again, guys!
Here are the final two Algebraic Thinking ppts, plus some supplementary materials needed for the breakouts. I also included the 4 "large version" fishing posters that go with the algebraic thinking component of the week - were we going to post these all at the beginning of the week to set the mood (and then focus on each of them individually with the selected breakout session?). The Fishing Quote posters need to be copied on 11 X17 - I plan to do this tomorrow for Kempenfelt but if you let me know I can do a set for Nottawasaga too and then we can meet somewhere in between on Monday. The cards to match partners (ordered pairs, equation of a line) needs to be copied on 8 1/2 X 14 (this is on my list for Kempenfelt as well). Otherwise the rest can be done on 8 1/2 X 11! Cheers again! Cathy

Good Morning, All!
Here are a couple of items for Proportional Reasoning Breakout #3. I'll get the ppts uploaded later today (Thursday), along with the rest of the handouts. I'm making copies for Kempenfelt, but can do the Nottawasaga stuff, too, and drop it off to you, Gina, if you need me to, as I'm in Toronto for the weekend.
Krista

Hi again! Here are the fishing quote posters for the Proportional Reasoning Breakouts (I did them all, since I was on a roll). I've made them as 8.5 x 11, but will blow them up to 11 x 17 at work tomorrow. Krista

Here is the ppt for Proportional Reasoning Breakout 3. Gina has a copy of the Turkey Time Video. I will be creating a file of the student work for the EQAO question tomorrow and will add it here. I'm still working on Breakout 4, but will make sure you have little or nothing to print out for the session.
Krista

Hi Everyone!
Here is the ppt for Proportional Reasoning Breakout 4, as well as the Learning Centres instructions sheets. I will be printing out one copy of the centres to post around, and can bring a set to you for Nottawasaga, if you like. I've also attached the files for the Gap Closing Electronic Practice materials.
